Join us on Oct. 4 for an RVA Active Aging Week and VCU Gerontology joint celebration! Hosted by Greater Richmond Age Wave, we'll learn about social connectedness, award great work, and network over food and drink. Featuring:
- Social Connectedness Activities: Learn about the health and wellness impact of social connectedness through fun, educational activities, which feature VCU faculty research findings and student projects
- VCU Gerontology Awards: Celebrate great works in advocacy, evidence-based practice, and inspiration in elderhood
- Best Practices in Business Awards: We will be presenting the first-ever Age Wave Business for Life Best Practices in Business Awards! These awards recognize local businesses that invest in their employees, providing a platform to foster sound business practices -- inclusive of all ages.
