Celebrating the Rainbow of Elderhood

Join VCU's Department of Gerontology and the Active Aging Week for an evening of documentary and film shorts. This is a free event, thanks to our generous sponsors,  Bremo Pharmacy and Dignity Memorial. The event will be held at The Richmond Triangle Players, Robert B. Moss Theatre from 5:30-8:30 PM. A panel discussion will follow the films.

We will be screening: 
Beauty Before Age:  Featuring interviews with men from 19 to 77, this award-winning documentary explores complexities with youth and aging.
Stonewall Forever:  50 years of LGBT advocacy, started with throwing a brick.  Or did it?  Learn more about the spirit and personalities behind the Stonewall Legacy.
Marguerite:  Marianne Farley's Oscar-nominated short about an older woman and her nurse developing a friendship that inspires her to unearth unacknowledged longing and thus help her make peace with her past
