Module Description:  In the fast-paced world of healthcare, ethical decision-making (EDM) has to occur quickly and with precision.  Join us for a discussion on the difference between morality and ethics, an assessment of our own moral fiber and how it influences EDM with the overall goal of delivering a caring response to those to whom we are giving care.

  • Compare and contrast morality and ethics
  • Recognize a caring response in the context of person-centered care
  • Identify ethical principles and problems
  • Apply the PAUSE model of EDM
